OUR EXPERTISE

CAODC INSPECTIONS

image13

Our CGSB Level II NDT Technicians and professional engineers meet the requirements of CAODC's recommended practices to perform all Level III & IV NDT inspection and certification needs.

MOBILE CRANE INSPECTIONS

image14

We provide ON-SITE mobile crane/picker inspections, minimizing down time and getting you back to business faster.

OVERHEAD CRANE INSPECTIONS

image15

Whether it's a gantry crane, overhead travelling crane, or a jib crane, we can do a visual and NDT inspection of the structural elements and certify it as safe to operate within the limits specified by its manufacturer.

DOWN HOLE TOOL INSPECTIONS

image16

We know your tools need to work perfectly and reliably everytime they go out, and we understand that your success is our success. Our NDT team has over 20 years of combined inspection experience and will make sure your equipment is ready to do quality work when it arrives on site.

AERIAL EQUIPMENT INSPECTIONS

Zoom booms, forklifts, bucket-trucks, telescopic manlifts, scissor lifts, lift-pods, etc. Whether you operate a rental business or use your units yourself, we will make sure they are structurally sound and certified within OH&S standards.

BELOW THE HOOK

We make sure your equipment meets the requirements of ASME Standard B30.9-2013, Safety Standard for Cableways, Cranes, Derricks, Hoists, Hooks, Jacks and Slings. We also ensure that below-the-hook lifting devices, other than slings, meet the requirements of ASME Standard B30.20-2014, Below the Hook Lifting Devices.

CONTINUOUS ROD - GUIDE AND INJECTOR INSPECTIONS

image18

Our team has exstensive experience inspecting the two major brands of continuous rod equipment assemblies. From the rod guide tip to the injector lift points, we will check all suspect areas to ensure safe connections and lifts.

SUSPENDED PERSONNEL BASKET INSPECTIONS

image19

Our inspection criteria for personnel baskets follows all required codes. We also include a pre-lift procedure on our certificates of compliance for our client's convinience and safety.

LIFT TRUCK/LOADER ATTACHMENT INSPECTIONS

image20

Although they may not reach the heights of many "below the hook" devices, lift truck attachments have the same potential for failure, we'll make sure that risk is diminished.

SIDE BOOM TRUCK INSPECTIONS

image21

In an industry that requires people to be working in an area with lifted product near by, there is especially no room for failure of lifting equipment. When Index NDT completes an inspection, you can rest assured knowing our team understands the importance of each and every inspection we complete.

WORK PLATFORM INSPECTIONS

image22

Are you a framer, roofer or in general construction? Chances are you own or have worked on a platform attached to a telescopic forklift. We are here to make sure your platforms are 100% safety certified.

SPREADER BAR INSPECTIONS

image23

We will make sure your "below the hook" equipment is ready to safely lift by completing the annual inspections necessary. In need of a custom spreader bar? Our experienced Engineers can help with that.

MANUAL CHAIN HOISTS INSPECTIONS

image24

Chain hoists are durable and long lasting. The only regular maintenance is inspection, cleaning and lubricating. We perform annual inspections on all styles of manual chain hoists, using NDT methods to make sure they are structurally sound and operating properly.
